UEW: students protest to restore its swimming pool

The students of University of Education, Winneba have started a protest  again. this time, its through social media. The students have took to social media to protest for a bring back of its swimming pool. The #Bringbackourpool is trending on all social media platforms. The cause of the protest was brought about how students of UEW are drowning in the sea of winneba.


On February 6th 2019 which is four days after school has been resumed to start the second semester, an I.C.T Level 100 student get drown and just last week per information reaching nobleaxis.blogspot also indicates that a boy has get drown. It is yet to be confirmed if he is a student of the university or not.

The students through this peaceful and modernized way is pleading with the school authorities especially the SRC to restore the pool which has been abandoned over the last decade. They claim if the pool is been restored, it will seize the case of drowning and also generate income for the SRC.
