UDS Elections: Nyankpala Campus Elects 1st ever female SRC President

The Nyankpala Campus’s Students Representative Council (SRC) is the first council of the UDS and has over the pass 26 years always had a male President.
As the pioneer campus of the UDS establishment, the Nyankpala Campus has seemingly pioneered the history of a female becoming the SRC President.


History Made
After an injunction on the elections was overturned by a court this week, the Nyankpala Campus went to the polls today.
At the end of the run-off election process, Zeinab Denderi claimed the win (per provisional results available at uds360.com)
The President elect is a level 300 Social Change Communication student and Solomon Titus Glover is the Vice President elect for the 2019/2020 academic year.
Results

- John Bosco: 751 votes
- Zeinab Denderi: 761 Votes
